Peekskill Open Studios

Saturday, June 03, 2017  12:00pm  05:00pm

Visit Peekskill during the first weekend of June and experience the 20th anniversary of Peekskill Arts Alliance's Open Studios! Explore artist’s studios, special group exhibits, and pop up shows throughout Peekskill.

Art lovers, collectors, and members of the public are welcomed into the private working spaces of the diverse members of the Peekskill arts community. See works in progress and talk to individual artists about their creative inspirations and methods.

Check out exhibits at Westchester Community College, Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, and the Field Library. Visit the many artists at the pop up Truck Stop Gallery on Central Avenue or at Peekskill Clay Studios in the Hat Factory. Take a trip to Division Street Guitars to see painters and poets perform together to create spontaneous art. The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art (HVCCA) will be offering free admission for the weekend.

Open Studios visitors can pick up a complimentary catalog containing information on participating artists and a map highlighting all of the must-see elements of Open Studios at the Gazebo on North Division Street. Online versions of the catalog and map will also be available on our website so you can easily travel throughout Peekskill using your smartphone.
