After School, Historic Fun an after-school program, that is both educational and fun, at St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site 897 S. Columbus Avenue, Mt. Vernon, NY, 914-667-4116 www.nps.gov/sapa FREE admission and parking. Wednesdays, in March, April, May and June 2024, from 3 PM – 5 PM Recommended for ages 6-12 Activities Include: Historic Dress Up, Revolutionary War style Special historic toys and games, including graces (catch at the time of George Washington) Scavenger hunts, with prizes, in the museum and in the historic cemetery Life of a child in colonial America – what was it like? Revolutionary War drill sergeant: an interactive exercise Performance and sing along of historic songs. The program will be led by St. Paul’s staff of experienced museum educators and historians. Please be aware that this is not a drop off program. Parents or guardians are expected to remain at the site during the program. Look forward to seeing you on Wednesday. |
