The Great American Total Solar Eclipse will darken skies all the way from Oregon to South Carolina along a stretch of land about 70 miles wide. Although the Northeast is not in the"totality zone," the eclipse will be partially visible here. Adjunct Professor of Computer Science and Astronomy Matt Ganis, PhD, and Westchester astronomers will be on hand at this viewing party to explain the phenomenon. Pace University President Marvin Krislov will also offer a welcome to members of the Westchester community. For more information, visit: http://www.pace.edu/mypace/solar-eclipse-2017-plv?mpc=cs |
