Acclaimed English rock band the Yardbirds is coming to the Paramount Theater!

The Yardbirds is a seminal group in the blues-rock and psychedelic-rock music scenes that dominated the mid-60s rock landscape. Experiencing a Yardbirds concert is akin to a music history lesson. An integral part of the British Invasion, these musical pioneers played a significant role in laying the groundwork for rock music.

The band crafted rock anthems “For Your Love,” “Over Under Sideways Down,” “Train Kept A-Rollin,’” and “Heart Full Of Soul,” to name a few —building a legacy that still goes strong. During its history, the Yardbirds helped launch the careers of legendary guitarists like Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and Jeff Beck.

The Yardbirds were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. Rolling Stone Magazine listed them as one of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Led by founding member and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jim McCarty, the band evokes the essence of the classic Yardbirds sound that made their 2016 tour a triumph.
