Learn the techniques to better collaborate with your child’s school in a positive way. Topics covered will include:
- How do schools place children in classes (and what to do if you think your child is poorly-placed)
- How to support the school’s instructional program - especially in reading and math – and how to deal with State tests
- “Opt-in or Out”
- Using test data to help your child
- Discussions of PTA/PTOs and foundations
This workshop is being facilitated by School of Education Professor and retired Westchester schools superintendent Brian Monahan and will take place on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 9:30-11:30am.
