Speaker Series - The Westchester Geriatric Mental Health Collaborative

Session 4 - Topic: "Our Aging Minds: Opportunities and Challenges"

Speakers: Dr. Elaina Dellacava; Geriatric Psychiatry Fellow, Weill Cornell Medicine and Dr. Lindsay Victoria; Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Weill Cornell Medicine to share important information on ways the brain changes as we age and positive ways to keep the brain healthy. One fun, unique technique using Improv will be demonstrated to show how important brain games, socialization and pysical mobility stimulate a postivite effect on the brain and overall mental health. Get to know other health providers, network, enjoy a light breakfast generaously provided by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. of Zeta Nu Omega Chapter.
